The Farmers Market has ended for the season, but whisk&spoon hasn’t! We would love to fill your autumn, winter, and holiday needs so give us a call to place a special order today. There will be two Holiday Markets at the Winneshiek County Fair Grounds: November 19th and December 17th, 9-noon. Look for us there as well as at local retail food locations in the near future!

new! specialty breads

whisk&spoon is now offering specialty breads at the market: crusty cheese loaves include provolone-olive, cheddar, or cheddar-rosemary. french baguettes are also available. they are popular items so be sure to come early and taste for yourself!

while you’re at it, try one of our individual tomato, cheese, herb tartlets with our home grown tomatoes and fresh herbs.

Midsummer is the time for sweet, juicy stone fruits like peaches, apricots, nectarines, pluots, plums, and apriums. We’re making lots of tasty fruit items pairing these lovely fruits with berries of all sorts from our local vendors. The strawberry season was short this year but blackberries are coming and the raspberries are perfect.

Some new fruity items we’ve been offering include peach blueberry galettes, fresh fruit tart, plum upside down cake, raspberry buttermilk cake, and peach cake.

Rhubarb season

We’re in the thick of rhubarb season and whisk&spoon is taking advantage of the tart and tangy sign of spring. Come check out the strawberry rhubarb turnovers, rhubarb tart, and lemon rhubarb cake we’re featuring at the farmers’ market.

The Decorah Farmers’ Market has begun and whisk&spoon is there every Wednesday and Saturday with an array of baked delicacies for you to enjoy. Come see us Wednesdays from 3-6pm and Saturdays from 8-11am across from City Hall on Heivly Street.
